Melanoma Rise Among Young Women Linked to Indoor Tanning

University of Minnesota researchers have conducted a study that found that women under age 40 diagnosed with melanoma began indoor tanning at an earlier age and frequented the facilities more often than older women diagnosed with this malignancy. The study focused on 681 individuals between the ages of 25 and 49. The results revealed that women who tanned indoors were two to six times more likely to develop melanoma. Read More...
