What’s the difference between Melanoma and Skin Cancer?


Folks often consider Melanoma synonymous with skin cancer, but it’s important to understand the difference. Melanoma is the rarest form of skin cancer, and the most aggressive. It forms in the lowest layer of the epidermis. Squamous cell carcinoma and basal cell carcinoma are two other forms of skin cancer.
